4 days. Although drinking from a straw is similar to the motion of smoking cigarettes , so if you are prone to "smoker lines" we suggest not using straws when you can avoid it.
Avoid blood thinners, caffeine, alcohol, waxing for three days before. We recommend never smoking, sunbathing or using tanning beds to avoid lip lines. Please come makeup free to your appointment.
Yes. We only use FDA approved natural lip fillers. The two most popular are Juvederm Ultra and Restylane Kysse.
A lip flip utilizes a neurotoxin (i.e. Botox, Dysport, Daxxify) to relax the muscle in the top lip. By doing so, this will prevent the top lip from curling under when smiling or talking. It helps to show your upper lip a bit more without doing filler. Some use it to help lip filler last a little longer and others use it to try out if they would like the look of a larger upper lip. Overall, it does not compare to the natural and long lasting results of actual lip filler, so most patients convert to lip filler after trying a lip flip.
