Dermal fillers are injectables that have a multitude of uses in different parts of the face and body, like the lips, jaw, chin, under eyes, hands etc. They can be used to add volume, smooth lines and wrinkles, and enhance your natural features. There are various types of fillers, like hyaluronic acid filler (Restylane, Juvederm, etc.) bioregenerative filler (Sculptra), and Calcium hydroxyapatite (Radiesse ) that are individually formulated for specific uses in the face and body. Fillers used at La Chelé are all FDA-approved in the United States and each have their own unique properties.

After an in-depth consultation and facial assessment, your provider will select the most appropriate filler and injection techniques for your needs. The procedure involves a series of strategically placed injections using a fine needle or cannula. Most patients find the injection process very manageable—many fillers contain lidocaine, and topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand for added comfort. Treatment usually takes under an hour, after which you’ll be free to return to your day.
At La Chelé, all filler consultations are complimentary! When you come in for your consultation, you will meet with one of our talented providers who will discuss with you all of your goals and concerns regarding the treatment.
Some patients have an idea of what they are looking for when they come in, and others are looking for our providers’ informed recommendations to enhance their features and address their needs.
Next is an assessment of the treatment area(s), where our providers will examine any asymmetries, irregularities, disproportionalities etc. that may be corrected with the various types of fillers. At La Chelé, we favor a conservative approach with natural-looking results when it comes to any treatment. Our providers will select the appropriate fillers for the areas to be addressed and then it’s time for injecting!

Yes, certain dermal fillers—particularly hyaluronic acid-based options like Juvéderm® and Restylane®—can be dissolved using an enzyme called hyaluronidase. If adjustments are needed, our team is highly skilled in managing and refining results safely.
We recommend keeping the treatment area makeup-free for at least 24 hours. This allows the skin to calm and minimizes the risk of infection or irritation at the injection sites.
Some patients experience minor swelling, redness, or bruising in the treatment area, but these effects typically resolve within a few days to a few weeks. Our providers will give you post-treatment instructions to minimize side effects and ensure optimal healing.
Most clients resume their regular activities immediately after treatment, however, bruising and swelling may occur. Final filler results are expected around 2 weeks post treatment. We suggest avoiding vigorous exercise, alcohol, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising.

One of the benefits of dermal filler treatments is the quick recovery and results. The effects of dermal fillers can be seen immediately after injection, however, filler injections can cause some swelling and bruising. It can take 2-4 weeks for the filler to fully settle. Here are some helpful tips to avoid bruising! We also recommend avoiding intense physical activity, excessive sun exposure, and alcohol for 24–48 hours post-treatment.
