Body composition analysis is an integral part of a medical weight loss program. The InBody Scale follows changes to body composition during weight loss, ensuring that muscle mass is preserved while losing weight and decreasing the percentage of body fat.

The InBody Scale can create an in-depth body composition analysis in under one minute! As part of our La Chelé Lifestyle Medical Weight Loss Programs, you will receive regular InBody scans to analyze body composition, weight loss and track your progress.

What is Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA)?

Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis measures factors such as muscle mass, percent body fat, visceral fat level and water. When you have your InBody analysis, you will stand on electrodes and hold onto electrodes. An electric current travels at different rates through muscle, fat, bone and water. The InBody will measure each segment – each arm, leg and torso and generate a comprehensive body composition analysis report.

How is InBody Different from other Body Composition Scales?

Many Bio-impedance analysis scales use groupings such as age and gender to estimate averages, but not all bodies are the same. The InBody Scale uses advanced technology and segmental measurement multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance analysis (DSM-MFBIA).
